Platform / HR

The HR work that usually falls between systems.

Records and onboarding are table stakes. Benefits administration and leave of absence are where most platforms hand the work back to you. Those are the two we built for.

Records and onboarding

One record per person.

Employee records

One record per person: role, pay, location, documents and history — the source everything else reads from.

Onboarding

Offer through first pay run in one sequence, so nothing is entered twice or missed entirely.

Documents

Handbooks, acknowledgements and signed forms stored against the employee they belong to.

Manager access

Managers see what they need for their own team, and nothing beyond it.

The gap we fill

Ben — benefits administration.

Benefits usually live with a broker, a carrier portal and a spreadsheet, and payroll finds out last. Ben keeps enrollment, elections and deductions on one record so the numbers agree.

  • Plan setup and open enrollment run inside the same portal as payroll.
  • Elections flow straight through to deductions — no second entry, no drift between systems.
  • Life events and qualifying changes handled with the paperwork attached.
  • Carrier and broker coordination handled by people who do it every week.
  • Reconciliation between what was elected, what was deducted and what was invoiced.

The gap we fill

Leave of absence.

Leave is the request nobody wants to be responsible for tracking. It is also the one with the most exposure attached. The portal works out which rules apply to each request before the case opens, and a person owns it from there — a workflow, not an email thread.

  • Intake for a leave request, with the eligibility questions asked up front.
  • Federal, state and company leave worked out from where the employee works and their history — applied together, not discovered one at a time.
  • Documentation, certifications and return-to-work dates held on the record.
  • Pay treatment during leave coordinated with the pay run, including intermittent leave.
  • A clear status for the employee, the manager and the administrator at all times.

Ask us about the hard ones.

Intermittent leave, a mid-year plan change, an employee who moved states. Those conversations tell you more than a feature list.
